Juliet Landau was born in 1971 in Los Angeles to actor parents Martin Landau and Barbera Bain. She studied ballet and acting in London, and worked as a ballerina for five years. She then concentrated on her acting career.
She has had a number of roles on both the big and small screen, appearing in films including Ed Wood, and The Grifters, and in the television series' La Femme Nikita and Millennium as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
Juliet didn't have to audition for her role as Drusilla - Joss Whedon had seen her work, and had her in mind for the role. Her on-screen chemistry with James Marsters also played a part in landing him the role of Spike.
Juliet is very passionate about acting. She still takes acting and dance classes, and works out regularly. She enjoys keeping fit, as well as reading and watching TV.
